The Appointment Booking Service allows you to make an appointment online to visit certain Courts Service offices, at a date and time that suits you.
This service is relevant to non-urgent matters only. Urgent matters do not need an appointment.

If you make an appointment and can no longer attend it, please cancel it via the cancellation link in your confirmation email. This will allow somebody else to use the appointment.
If you need assistance in attending the office, please do not hesitate to reach out to the relevant office directly.

Regardless of the nature of the appointment court staff are not legally trained and cannot provide any legal advice. You may wish to talk to a solicitor before making your application. A solicitor can provide legal advice, discuss the options available and complete the forms on your behalf. A solicitor can also manage your case and represent you in court.

- Your case reference number
- A valid form of ID, such as Passport or Driving Licence

Any applicant seeking a Domestic Violence Order must be residing within County Cavan. In emergency situations, applicants can have an address within County Monaghan (within District No. 5).

The Central Office of the High Court is piloting a walk-up service for customers attending the office without an appointment. The service will operate on a first come first served basis, with the office operating a walk-up system exclusively between 1.00pm and 1.45pm.

A key part of the Courts Service Modernisation Programme is the enhancement of our ICT services, and in the Central Office of the High Court, the replacement of the Progress case management system from Monday 2 October 2023.
As we transition to this new system, we will be operating a reduced number of daily appointments from the 25 September - 13 October. We ask that you continue to email dublincivillaw@courts.ie where an appointment is not available, and you have an urgent requirement/deadline.

The Dublin Civil Combined Offices include: the Stamp Office, the District Civil Office, the Circuit Civil Office, the Licensing & Small Claims Office and the Judgments Office.
You can schedule an appointment online to visit the public counters of the above offices for:
- Stamping papers with relevant Stamp Duty *
- Filing documents for the Dublin District & Circuit Civil Courts
- Making applications to the Dublin District & Circuit Civil Courts

- Collecting further copies of attested court orders/pleadings from file

* Please note: From 6 June 2023, Stamp Office hours are being extended. A walk-in service will be available from 09:30 to 13:00. Appointments are then required between 13:15 and 15:15.
For Urgent Matters where it is not possible to make an appointment, a walk-in service will be provided. Please attend the relevant counter and our staff will accommodate you.
NB: Non-urgent matters will NOT be accepted without an appointment.
