COURT OF APPEAL (CIVIL)
NOTICE OF SITTINGS IN CORK
The Court of Appeal will sit in The Courthouse, Washington Street Cork for four days during the week beginning Tuesday 5th May 2020 to hear civil appeals.
Practitioners who are interested in having a case heard in Cork during that period should notify the Registrar of the Court of Appeal by sending an email to courtofappealcivil@courts.ie as soon as possible. Notification should also issue to the solicitor for the other side.
Hearing dates may be allocated at a Friday list or on some other day as the President shall direct and it would be useful if the submissions of the appellant were lodged and served on the solicitor for the respondent in advance of the application for a hearing in Cork. Directions will then be given at the relevant listing as to any outstanding submissions and the books of appeal.
