Dear Colleagues
Please note that in line with Government policy, all possession matters currently before the County Registrar for County Tipperary will be adjourned to the November sittings of the County Registrar in Nenagh Courthouse and Clonmel Courthouse on the following dates:
- All matters currently listed for Clonmel on Monday 14th June 2021 will now be heard in Clonmel on Monday 8th November 2021 at 2.00pm
- All matters currently listed for Nenagh on Monday 21st June 2021 will now be heard in Nenagh on either Monday 1st November or Monday 15th November 2021 at 2.00pm
- All matters currently listed for Clonmel on Monday 28th June 2021 will now be heard in Clonmel on Monday 22nd November 2021 at 2.00pm
All new possession cases before the County Registrar will be allotted hearing slots in the above November dates.
All applications for substitution of a plaintiff, etc will be listed before the County Registrar at his normal sittings.
However, if the parties agree to strike out proceedings on consent or where the parties agree to adjourn proceedings for a period greater than 6 months, then the plaintiff should e-mail jamesseymour@courts.ie with the details of the case and the agreed terms and the County Registrar will make the necessary order in the office without the need for the parties to attend in court.
Where the parties are consenting to an order for possession or where the matter requires direction from the County Registrar (for example where the subject property is abandoned, etc.), please notify the County Registrar by e-mail (jamesseymour@courts.ie) and the matter will be listed for hearing before the County Registrar.
Yours faithfully
James Seymour
County Registrar & Sheriff for Tipperary, Kilkenny & Wexford
County Registrar for Cork
