Statement from the Courts Service regarding Pride 2024
Tuesday 25th June 2024
General News

Pride is an important part of the Courts Service Inclusion Group's calendar of events for our staff, family, and friends. This year we have been asked not to attend in an official capacity by the Dublin and Limerick Pride parade organisers, due to security reasons. We are disappointed with this turn of events but obviously do not want to put any attendee at either event in harm’s way.

Nothing in this development changes our solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, family, friends, and court users. While we will not be participating officially in parades this month, we look forward to celebrating Pride again in the future, as we did previously.
