GENERAL NOTICE

The Garda Compensation List will re-commence by way of remote hearings as and from  Monday the 12th  October 2020. Priority has been given to those cases that had hearing dates vacated due to the pandemic.

Where parties are consenting  to a remote hearing a soft copy of the papers for the Judge should be emailed to the  Garda Registrar on the Tuesday preceding the assigned hearing date.

Parties will be obliged to complete the undertakings regarding remote hearings and a list of authorised attendees .

The  Judge in charge of the list has  directed that consent applications for hearing dates are  now to be made by email to the Registrar. Where there is no consent both sides should email the Registrar briefly outlining their position and the matter will be brought to the Court’s attention. Hearing date application forms can be obtained by emailing the Registrar.

Similarly any party that a wishes to have  matter mentioned  to the Court  should first  contact the Registrar setting out the reasons for same and   indicating the consent or otherwise to the application.
