Longford Circuit Court - Criminal Sittings/Case Progression - Sittings Update - 17/04/2020

Longford Circuit Court Criminal Sittings scheduled for the 19th May, 2020

Judge Johnson will sit at Longford on 19th May, 2020 at 10.00 a.m.to do call over of all Cases and Appeals listed for session. All cases where Accused is on Bail will be adjourned to 6th October, 2020 for mention only. There is no necessity for persons on bail or their representatives to attend. In respect of persons in custody they will be adjourned to Mullingar on Wednesday, 20th May, 2020 to be dealt with by video link.

Longford County Registrar’s Call-over List  scheduled for the 2nd June, 2020

All matters in the Call over List will stand adjourned to Wednesday, 3rd June, 2020 at 11.00 a.m.

Longford County Registrar's Motion Courts: 18th March, 2020, 1st April, 2020, 15th April, 2020, 6th May, 2020, 20th May, 2020 and 3rd June, 2020.

All matters will stand adjourned to Friday, 5th June, 2020 at 11.00 a.m.

However the County Registrar will deal with the following on 6th May, 2020:

(1) Where Consent Orders are being sought and where the parties provide the terms of said Order in advance together with consent to the making of said Order 

(2) Where the applications are Ex-parte and all paperwork is in order.

All such draft terms and consents must be emailed to longfordcourtoffice@courts.ie 

Attendance is not required for any such matters. 

Longford Case Progression Hearings:  

18th March, 2020, 15th April, 2020 and 20th May, 2020. 
All matters will stand adjourned to 5th June, 2020 at 2.p.m. 

However the County Registrar will deal with the following on 6th May, 2020 .
