High Court Notice - Vacation August 2020

 

Practitioners are hereby advised of the following arrangements during August Vacation 2020.

A High Court Judge will be available every day throughout the Vacation to hear urgent applications.

Applications will not be listed before the vacation Judge without certification from the High Court Duty Registrar that the matter is urgent. In the case of any such matter please contact the Four Courts at 01-8886000 or email hcmotions@courts.ie and make arrangements with the High Court Duty Registrar.  

All sittings before the vacation Judge will take place Monday to Friday in the Four Courts at 11.00 a.m. unless otherwise advised by the Registrar.

In addition to the foregoing, the following categories of business shall be heard as follows:

The President will sit in Court 4 on the 12th and 26th days of August to deal with Wards of Court business. The Duty Judges are authorised to deal with urgent Wardship business on all other dates.

The Bail List will continue in the CCJ each Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday throughout August.

 

There will be a Commercial Court Motion List at 11.00 a.m. in Court 2 Four Courts on the 11th of August and on the 25th  of August.

 

The Extradition List will take place in the  CCJ on the 18th  of August

 

The Special Care  List will take place at  11.00 a.m. in Court 7 Four Courts on the 13th  of August

 

Legal Diary

 

The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website (http://legaldiary.courts.ie/) on each day on which the Central Office is open during the August Vacation.

 

Central Office of the High Court

 

To comply with current Government  physical distancing guidelines the Central Office is open for business by appointment only made through  dublincivillaw@courts.ie.

Communication with the office should be by phone or email and documentation for non urgent business can be filed in accordance with Practice Direction HC90.
