High Court Notice – Whit Vacation 2024

Practitioners and court users are hereby advised of the following arrangements during Whit Vacation 2024 for the High Court.

A High Court Judge will be available every day throughout the Vacation to hear urgent applications only.

In the case of any such urgent matter please contact the Four Courts at 01-8886000 to make arrangements with the High Court Duty Registrar. Applications will not be listed before the Vacation Judge without certification from the High Court Duty Registrar that the matter is urgent. Please be prepared to put in writing via email an explanation of the urgency.   

All sittings before the vacation Judge will take place in the Four Courts (Court 6) at 11.00 am unless otherwise advised by the High Court Duty Registrar.

In addition to the foregoing, the Bail List will sit in Cloverhill Courthouse on Tuesday 21 May, Thursday 23 March and Tuesday 28 May with the Extradition List sitting in the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday 22 May 2024.

Legal Diary

The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website (www.courts.ie) on each day on which the Central Office is open during the Whit Vacation.

The Central Office is open for business by appointment by using the online appointment system  https://www.courts.ie/appointments. For urgent matters, where it is not possible to book online, please email dublincivillaw@courts.ie to make an appointment.
