Courts Service Red Weather Alert Update
Court sittings cancelled and offices closed tomorrow Friday 24 January 2025

Due to the Red Weather warnings nationwide Court sittings have been cancelled and court offices will remain closed tomorrow Friday 24 January 2025 with the exception of:

Dolphin House, District Family Law office - Returning interim barring orders scheduled for hearing on Friday 24 January 2025 will be heard no earlier than 2:00pm in Court 41.
A facility for urgent domestic violence applications will be available in Dolphin House from 2pm to 3pm only.
District Court Sittings in Harristown at 10.30am and Castlerea at 11.30am will be sitting for custody cases only in Harristown District Court Roscommon at 2pm tomorrow
Court 4, the Criminal Courts of Justice and Cloverhill Courts will be sitting, not before 2pm.

These sittings are subject to weather warnings and the buildings being safe, please keep checking courts.ie and our social media channels for updates..

High Court Emergency Applications

A Duty Judge of the High Court will be available to hear emergency applications on Friday the 24 January 2025, after the lifting of the Red Weather warning for Dublin.

Applications will not be listed before the Duty Judge without certification from the High Court Duty Registrar that the matter is sufficiently urgent to warrant a listing.
