Appointment Booking Service goes live for non-urgent matters in Kilkenny, Mullingar, Portlaoise, and Waterford Court Office.

As part of a nationwide rollout, as of Monday 22nd of January 2024, the latest offices with the Appointment Booking Service are: 

• Kilkenny Court Office
• Mullingar Court Office
• Portlaoise Court Office
• Waterford Court Office

From the 22nd of January, an appointment can be scheduled in advance of visiting these offices for a range of services/queries by visiting our dedicated page.

This provides you with:

• Access to an online booking system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to make an appointment to visit the office at a date and time that suits you.
• Reduced waiting times.
• Provision of the correct members of staff to deal with relevant services/queries.

Please note: An appointment is not needed to make an application under the Domestic Violence legislation - this remains a walk-in service.  

For those without access to email or online services, the office can be contacted directly to make an appointment, if you wish to do so.
