COURT OF APPEAL (CRIMINAL)
NOTICE OF SITTINGS IN CORK
The Court of Appeal will sit in The Courthouse, Anglesea Street Cork for the week beginning Monday the 2nd December 2019 to hear criminal appeals including undue leniency applications.
Practitioners who are interested in having a case heard in Cork during that period should notify the Registrar of the Court of Appeal by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Notification should also issue to the solicitor for the other side.
Practitioners will note from the Legal Diary that several cases have already been allocated a hearing date in Cork and any further applications will be dealt with by the President at one of the management lists in Michaelmas term on a convenient Friday (preferably after the transcript has been made available to the parties). In allocating a hearing date the President will give any necessary directions as to submissions.
