COURT OF APPEAL
ARTICLE 64 LISTS TO FIX DATES SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 2018
The Supreme Court has set aside time during the weeks of the 18th February 2019 and 25th February 2019 for the hearing of Article 64 appeals and hearing dates during that period will be assigned on a provisional basis to the cases listed in the List to Fix Dates on the 1st November 2018. Further directions will also be given that day.
Having regard to the current waiting times in the Court of Appeal for the hearing of appeals the Lists to Fix Dates scheduled for the 8th November 2018 and the 15th November 2018 are deferred until further notice. In the meantime it remains open to any party in the cases included in those lists to avail of the procedure set out in Practice Direction CA03 to bring an application for directions leading to the allocation of a hearing date in the Court of Appeal. However it should be noted that having regard to the current waiting times it is unlikely that any such hearing date will be before Michaelmas term 2020.
