HC26 - Withdrawal of action - Dublin personal injury list
Practitioners should notify the Chief Registrar when actions in the personal injury list are settled.
As an alternative to the procedure under Order 26 Rule 2 a letter from either party will be accepted to take the action out of this list. The action will then be started and listed for mention on the last Thursday of every term except when the last day of term is a Thursday - when it will be listed the preceding Thursday. The action will then be struck out in default of any other application.
The parties to any action the hearing of which is likely to take over four days should inform the Central Office at same.
