CCA06 - Positive callover

With effect from Easter term 2014 the weekly callover of cases listed for hearing in the Court of Criminal Appeal will be taken by the registrar on the Wednesday of each week during term at 10 o’clock in Court 22, Criminal Courts of Justice.

Practitioners are required to attend at such callover to confirm that

(a) the case is ready to proceed

(b) all submissions have been lodged

(c) the estimated duration of the case does not exceed the duration given at the list to fix dates

In the absence of such confirmation or in the event of there being no appearance at the callover the case will be taken out of the list and adjourned back to the list to fix dates.
