Mullingar Courthouse - temporary closure

Mullingar Courthouse will be undergoing refurbishment commencing October 2015. Therefore, the courthouse will close to the public with effect from the 30th September 2015

Temporary venue:

All court business currently being carried out in Mullingar Courthouse will be carried out at the new temporary venue which is located at St. Loman's Mullingar GAA Club, Delvin Road, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Change of address on summonses, applications, notices of motion etc.

When issuing applications, summonses, civil bills, claims notices, notice of motions returnable for Mullingar District Court or the Circuit civil and family law courts (as they relate to Mullingar cases) and any other type applications where the return date or hearing date will be on or after the 1st October 2015 please ensure that the venue for the hearing of such matters cited in the said initiating documents reads 'St. Loman's Mullingar GAA Club, Delvin Road, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath'.

For court documents already served, you are required to notify recipients in writing of the change of venue.

Mullingar Circuit Court criminal matters will continue to be heard at the Courthouse, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
The address for the Mullingar Court Offices and for the forwarding of all correspondence remains Court Service Office, Mullingar, Church Avenue, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
