HC30 - Court funds - Transfer of Circuit Court action to High Court

With effect from 6th October 2003 upon the adoption of a Circuit Court action by the High Court the Order of the Master shall in relation to a lodgment

i) direct that the amount of the lodgment exclusive of interest shall be lodged in the High Court.

ii) direct that the County Registrar shall pay the amount of the lodgment exclusive of interest to the Accountant of the Courts of Justice.

iii) direct that the County Registrar shall pay back to the solicitor for the party by whom the lodgment was made the interest accrued on the lodgment up to the date of lodgment in the High Court.
