Stamp duty payable on judgments

The attention of practitioners is directed to the provisions of S.I. No. 492 of 2014 (hereinafter referred to as the Fees Order).

Schedule 1 Part 1(3) of the Fees Order provides for the payment of fees on copy judgments. The exemptions to the Fees Order do not extend to copy judgments provided to the parties of the case.

It may be of benefit to practitioners to be aware that a large volume of judgments are available on this website and these can be accessed without payment of a fee.

Attested judgments, which require payment under the Fees Order, may be requested by email from highcourtjudgments@courts.ie
