Tuam District Court sittings - District No. 4
With effect from 9 January 2018, Tuam District Court sittings will take place at Weir Road, Tuam, Co. Galway.
The resident judge has directed that all civil and family law (other than domestic violence) be brought only on the third Wednesday in each month.
The other two monthly dates are devoted to crime and applications for exemptions etc.
Galway District Court sittings - District No. 7
Criminal (Garda and DPP only):
Each Monday and first, second, third and fourth Wednesday in each month at 10.30 a.m.
All applications and non-garda prosecutions:
First Tuesday in each month at 10.30 a.m.
If an application is necessary other than on the first Tuesday the solicitors must bring it in one of the Connemara courts - Clifden, Derrynea or Spiddal.
Civil and civil enforcement:
Third Thursday in each month at 10.30 a.m.
Second and fourth Tuesday in each month at 10.30 a.m.
All applications must be issued through the District Court Office in order to be assigned a court date.
Third Thursday in each month at 12 noon.
The only exception to the above which the judge allows is if the gardaí have a prisoner that must be processed.
