Opportunities to work as Judicial Assistant
The Courts Service has excellent opportunities to work with the judiciary as judicial assistant.
The role involves providing support to judges which can range from administrative, general duties, research and attending court.
These roles provide an invaluable insight into the practical workings of the courts.
Opportunities exist in the Superior and Circuit courts.
For the Superior Courts and the Judicial Research Office, applicants must have a minimum of 2.1 degree in law.
For the Circuit Court, applicants must have a third level legal qualification.
In addition to a full and clean driving licence, you must be available to travel throughout the country at short notice.
